My path to art goes something like this… Growing up “creative,” trying to force it into a career, afraid to fail, finding a new career, finding a creative outlet, getting caught up in life, kids, marriage, bills, losing that outlet, getting caught up in life, kids, marriage, bills, finding a new creative outlet, suddenly you find you’re a painter…? Sounds about right. I am still in the space of exploring and finding my voice but as you will see throughout my work, I express with bright color. I love when art evokes a sense of joy and happiness. Lately I have been drawn to create on a larger scale, especially portraits. Whatever it is, it's therapeutic and I love the process.
