Hope Springs Eternal is a painting currenlty resonating with the artist in this time of uncertainty amongst a global pandemic. It's colors and energy are a reminder that though we are facing difficult times physically apart, we are seeing communities come together like they never have before and we will come out of this stronger.

My path to art goes something like this… Growing up “creative,” trying to force it into a career, afraid to fail, finding a new career, finding a creative outlet, getting caught up in life, kids, marriage, bills, losing that outlet, getting caught up in life, kids, marriage, bills, finding a new creative outlet, suddenly you find you’re a painter…? Sounds about right. I am still in the space of exploring and finding my voice but as you will see throughout my work, I express with bright color. I love when art evokes a sense of joy and happiness. Lately I have been drawn to create on a larger scale, especially portraits. Whatever it is, it's therapeutic and I love the process.
